WHAT? I’m totally speechless. The cover was revealed today and I can’t get over it. I thought about other colours for the cover like a dark green or something like that and it’s true? Hell yeah, this is one hell of a choice. And the weapon in Feyre’s hand? I do get the feeling that this book will be a serious threat to my happiness as I said before. And the dress looks like it is made out of the night sky over Velaris. I just want to look at it all the time. And I think it is the dress that Charlie Bowater drew for Feyre? This is the best thing ever! AND HAVE YOU SEEN HER TATTOO? I am never not going to fangirl over it. My mind is racing by now because of all the things that could happen in the book. The cover is incredible pretty and I just can’t stop staring at it. I do want to read the book right now and I’m not quite sure whether I’ll be able to wait until May.
Here’s a short synopsis about ACOWAR taken from Sarah J. Maas’ website (if you haven’t read ACOTAR AND ACOMAF by now, maybe you should stop reading in case of minor spoilers):
Looming war threatens all Feyre holds dear in the third volume of the #1 New York Times bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin’s manoeuvrings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.
We all know that Sarah J. Maas is the queen in this genre and that her books are beyond amazing. After this cover reveal – which Maas stated is her favourite cover of the series – I’m even more intrigued in reading the book. I mean – Feyre has seen some things and what she is doing for the ones she loves, is nothing easy. So right now I’m going to curl up and cry in anticipation and the silent knowing, that this book will ruin me for sure. Great.
