Another post within two days and on a sunday? Impossible! Well … I normally don’t participate in a wrap-up of books I read in a month. But since things are going better than expected when it comes to reading, I might as well show you what I managed to do! So yes, an unpredicted post! But anyways – I wanted to read 3 books in March but finished 5 in the end. My goal is currently really low because of work – I have an incredible amount of hours per week even though I’m “only” working in an office – but at the same time I managed to read 14 books this year with a total goal of 30 for 2017. Looking at this rate – almost the half in 3 months! – I might be able to read more than I initially thought. But I’ll be stopping right here talking about work and goals and instead show you which books I finished last month:

  • Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – 5
  • The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde – 3.5
  • Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo – 5
  • Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas – 5
  • Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas – 5
  • It seems like I was really generous when it comes to the stars I gave the books but this is only because Leigh Bardugo as well as Sarah J. Maas are extremely formidable authors and I want to drown in their words and the worlds they build. Every time I think that the former book was great, they give me an even better one as a sequel. As you might guess by now – if you haven’t already read my other posts – I adore these women and they’re easily some of my favourite authors. The reviews of the books are all on previous posts if you want to read them or even share your thoughts with me. I linked them in the above list so you can find them more easily. Exceptions are Crooked Kingdom and Heir of Fire which will be up in the following days.

I hope to read 5 more books in April, but I’m not quite sure if I will be able to do this since I first want to finish the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas as well as re-reading A Court of Mist and Fury – also by Sarah J. Maas – in anticipation of the release of A Court of Wings and Ruin on April 2nd. All of these 3 are rather big books. If you want to follow my progress on reading – as well as some of my reviews – you can befriend me on Goodreads. I always love to connect with fellow book dragons and talk about books! And even though I might be some kind of dragon I won’t bite you – promised!

I’m pretty sure I’m the only person left on the planet that has yet to read Throne of Glass, but the fact that you’re comparing it to SoC (my fav series EVER) really makes me anxious to pick it up!! There’s so much hype surrounding SJM books, I really hope I’m not disappointed! ?

Hey Mia! Don’t worry, I only started reading Throne of Glass this year and it also felt like I was the only person with them on the tbr pile 😀 I hope you’ll be enjoying the series as much as I did and I’d be happy to hear from you about it! It will be different from SoC, but there also many characters to fall in love with as well as a whole new world to discover. And if you like badass female leads, then this should be your kind of book! 🙂
But I do understand the fear because of the hype. I was afraid at first, but after reading both series, I can only agree 😀
