Planned as a blog post series of four parts, the buddy read for The Cruel Prince by Holly Black ended somehow different than imagined. Instead of four weeks we all finished the books after only three, but took our time to further discuss it. All in all we did use the four weeks we had planned originally. So I myself took time to write this last post. It will be a bit different from the ones before. I won’t be answering the questions of the catalogue as we did every weekend. Instead I want to talk about the experience of my first buddy read and about the awesome girls I shared it with as well as another planned buddy read!
my first ever buddy read and what it made me realize – pt. II
Being part of a buddy read is one thing – being part of a group buddy read is one thing else entirely. I realized that in my second week of taking part in said group buddy read with the girls and Holly Black’s The Cruel Prince. But especially things like that make a buddy read so interesting.
my first ever buddy read and what it made me realize – pt. I
It has been a while since I last posted on my blog. But it is okay with me because I had a lot to do with family, friends, work and my personal life overall. Still I can’t get my mind off of blogging (or reading for that matter). So with the new year still in blooming I decided to participate in something I never did before – a buddy read, hosted by my fellow german instagrammer Ariana over at @solaire_writing. Because this is all new to me, I decided to share my experience with you in a post series of four parts.
